About Project Light

Project Light is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving people with literacy, English as a Second Language (“ESL”) and General Equivalency Diploma (“GED”) needs since 1979. We do this by developing and providing educational software and training programs to faith-based and community based organizations around the globe.

Project Light software programs and training programs combined with a one-tutor to one-student proven methodology have resulted in life transformation for thousands of students who have been tutored in Project Light-established Learning Centers. Project Light's interactive literacy and ESL software allows anyone reading at a sixth grade level to successfully tutor students one-to-one, with minimal training. The programs also include biblically-based stories, which allow churches, ministries and missionaries to effectively use the program for evangelistic outreach.

Project Light's programs have been successfully used by faith-based and community-based organizations, parents, missionaries, home schoolers, and educators. Our partner Learning Centers have served children, teens, adults, ESL students, those with reading and learning challenges, hearing impaired, emotionally challenged, educable mentally retarded, brain injured, and children with autism and ADHD.
