The Business Internship Program

Project Light’s Business Internship Program provides students with experiential learning and actual applications of textbook theories, along with exposure to national and international affairs. This internship is research-intensive and yields the following benefits and opportunities:

• Assist president in preparing for strategic initiatives and board meetings
• Research national and international markets to identify expansion opportunities
• Generate reports and presentations based on research findings (providing conclusions and recommendations, etc.)
• Learn how to do and assist with grant-writing
• Assist with updating organization’s strategic growth plans
• Contribute to human resources management
• Analyze and graphically represent financial data
• Interpret learning centers’ performance and statistics

Here, interns have a chance to combine the various areas of business segmented by individual classes into one rich experience. Further enhancing the quality of this internship are the freedom to experiment and exposure to real-world challenges.

In order to apply for this internship, you must be a currently enrolled, degree-seeking student (or a recent graduate) and must adhere to your school’s interning policies. We also base candidates’ employability on a few other criteria. The majors most suitable for this program are Business and International Business.
