Graphic Design Internships

The Graphic Design Internship Program

We understand that many Graphic Design students independently generate portfolios and gain experience through classroom projects, free-lance work, and self-teaching, so they may not view internships as particularly vital. However, our own Graphic Design internship program allows students to benefit in unique ways and put their creativity and current skill-set to use while enhancing them in a professional environment in the following ways:

  • Work with a team of experienced graphic designers
  • Create original graphics for educational software, addressing world-wide literacy and ESL needs
  • Design original graphics for organization’s promotional materials (advertising)
  • Create unique font settings
  • Learn effective shortcuts to expedite projects
  • Employ tricks of the trade to modify real images
  • Utilize various formatting methods
  • Utilize software such as Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Participate in meetings and provide project updates

Graphic Design internships at other companies sometimes seem repetitious of classroom lectures, but that is not the case at Project Light. We understand how personally important it is for career-minded students to get as much practice as possible; therefore, we treat them as assets and put their skills to great use!

To learn how past Graphic Design interns have benefited from Project Light’s internship program, please feel free to review their testimonials and some of their completed graphic work!

In order to apply for this internship, you must be a currently enrolled, degree-seeking student (or a recent graduate) and must adhere to your school’s interning policies. We also base candidates’ employability on a few other criteria. The majors most suitable for this program are Graphic Design, Website Design, Information Technology, and Art.
