How can you help?

Project Light is a non-profit organization that primarily relies on contributions from individuals, corporations, churches and foundations.  These contributions enable Project Light to provide hardware, software and plant Regional Training and Learning Centers to serve those in need.  Our desire is to serve as many students as possible at the least possible cost.

• Money

  You can make a tax-deductible donation by mailing a check to: Project Light, P.O. Box 508, Norfolk, Virginia 23501-0508. You can also call us at (757) 624-1764.

• Help Sponsor A Learning Center

  If you would like to help at and/or sponsor a Learning Center, please contact us.

• Sponsor a Student

  If you would like to sponsor a student, we can facilitate this. If you desire, we can place your name on a computer to show the student of your support. We can also give a gift in honor or memory of a special person. We will send a card to inform the individual or family of your gift. If you would like to sponsor a student or give a gift in honor or memory of a special person, please contact us.

• Computers

  If you are a corporation, foundation or individual and would like to donate a computer or provide a grant, please contact us.

• Investments

  Donors may contribute stocks, bonds and mutual funds to Project Light. We recommend that you first consult with your tax advisor and then contact us.

• Vehicles/Real Estate

  Donors may also contribute used vehicles or real estate. We recommend that you first consult with your tax advisor and then contact us.

• Donations & Employer Matching Gifts

  In many cases, matching gifts from employers can double your contribution. If your employer has a matching gift program and you would like us to process the paperwork, please contact us.

  Project Light is a part of the United Way network.  If your business is parternered with United Way, just let them know that you would like to designate your gifts to Project Light!
